We are seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages to discover the joy of movement and self-expression through dance. Duties
- Lead lively and well-structured dance classes tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Demonstrate dance techniques, choreography, and proper form with clarity and enthusiasm
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation, creativity, and confidence
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and performance
- Organize and prepare class materials, music, and costumes as needed for performances or recitals
- Prepare students for their RAD ballet exams.
- Choreograph dance routines for the dance competitions.
- Maintain a safe environment by monitoring class activities and ensuring proper use of space and equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching dance mainly in Ballet and lyrical dance
- Strong background in various dance styles suitable for different age groups
- Experience working with children or early childhood education is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to clearly demonstrate techniques and motivate learners
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Basic classroom experience or experience managing group activities is preferred
- Additional credentials such as RAD certificates are a plus but not required
