Takla Maintenance (TM Corp) is a family-owned business operating in Edmonton. TM Corp offers commercial-scale landscaping services such as site preparation, tree, shrub, and turf installation, plant care, and vegetation control.

We are looking for candidates with previous landscape construction experience. Construction Team Leads will be required to help communicate work assignments to laborers and work with a designated crew (grading, planting, turf installation, clean up etc.) This position is seasonal running from May through October with the possibility of becoming permanent. General hours of operation are Monday – Saturday from 8 AM – 6 PM. Compensation ranges from $18-$24 per hour, depending upon experience.

Must-haves:

· Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record & reliable transportation

· CSA approved steel-toed safety boots; safety glasses; hi-visibility safety vest & gloves

· Seasonal landscaping experience including operating Skid Steers, Excavators, Truck & Trailer, etc.

· Physically fit, reliable, valuable attention to detail & a positive attitude

· Willingness to work overtime when required (up to 12 hours shifts)

· 18 years of age & legally entitled to work in Canada

· Working cell phone with data

Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to:

· Supervising & working alongside a small crew of laborers

· General site and lot clean up

· Install caliper trees & rolls of sod

· Perform repetitive tasks such as digging,



raking, planting, sweeping etc.

· Load & transport equipment (skid steers, excavators, etc.) with proper load securement

· Daily safety documentation

· Carry heavy loads >50lbs

· Keep hand tools and equipment in good working order

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

· First-aid certification

· Experience reading and understanding neighborhood plans & drawings

· Experience driving trucks, operating skid steers & towing trailers

· Mechanically inclined
