Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Navan, ON (5001 Herbert Dr, Navan, ON K4B 1J1)

Schedule: Full-time, Permanent (6ham to 16h pm)

Job Summary:

At Matrec, our General Laborers keep our operations safe, clean, and efficient. In this role, you will perform equipment maintenance, repair containers, and support daily terminal operations in Navan.

Job Requirements:

- Education & Experience: High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of maintenance, repair, or mechanical experience (or vocational training).

- Licence: Valid driver's licence required.

- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, climb, and work in an open shop setting.

- Skills & Safety: Strong safety awareness, basic tech/computer skills for work orders, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:





- Yard Maintenance: Keep the yard clean, organized, and free of debris.

- Garage Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and order in the garage/shop area.

- Container Repair & Painting: Paint and repair metal waste bins and containers.

- Inventory Tracking: Maintain an accurate daily inventory of containers.

- Other Duties: Perform operational tasks assigned by supervisors.
