Canoil Canada Ltd. is a Canadian manufacturer of specialty industrial greases and lubricants, serving customers in power generation, utilities, and industrial markets. We're a small, close-knit team where every role has a direct, visible impact on the business.
We're looking for an organized, hands-on Logistics & Operations Coordinator to manage the day-to-day flow of shipping, receiving, and internal operations at our Georgetown facility. This role is the backbone connecting production, inventory, and order fulfillment — you'll make sure materials come in, product goes out, and everything in between is tracked and running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all shipping and receiving activity — prepare shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips), schedule carriers/freight, and track inbound and outbound shipments
- Receive incoming raw materials and supplies; verify against purchase orders and update inventory records
- Prepare finished goods for shipment in coordination with the production team
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts/stock reconciliation
- Support production scheduling from an operations/materials standpoint (ensuring raw materials and packaging are on hand when needed)
- Coordinate with couriers, freight carriers, and customs brokers as needed
- Field occasional customer and carrier calls related to order status, delivery timing, or shipping documentation
- Maintain organized records for shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
- General administrative support related to operations (data entry, filing, purchase order tracking)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, warehouse, or operations administration (manufacturing setting preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — accuracy matters when tracking materials and shipments
- Comfortable using a forklift or willing to be trained/certified
- Comfortable communicating with customers and carriers by phone/email when needed
- min college degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel especially); ERP or inventory management system experience an asset
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a small-team environment with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license an asset
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Hands-on, broad exposure to operations in a small manufacturing business
- Opportunity to grow with the company
Work Location: In person
