Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical systems, and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle and machinery systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The Technician will work closely with customers and team members to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dealership operations, welding, and schematics is highly preferred, along with proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and assembly tasks.
Duties
- MOB & DEMOB rental equipment
- Operate Loaders, Skid steers
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and inspections
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and the use of personal protective equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Assist in the training of junior staff or interns as needed
Qualifications
- Oilfield rental experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Work alone and efficiently
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Prior mechanic experience preferred but not required; relevant training or certifications are a plus
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques
