Job Title: Lead Hand Crusher Operator

Our crushing division operates in remote locations, producing high-quality aggregate materials for construction and infrastructure projects across the region.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Hand Crusher Operator to oversee our crushing screening operations and guide our field crew. In this role, you will balance heavy equipment operation with frontline leadership, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.

The position operates on a 3-weeks-on, 1-week-off rotational schedule at remote camp-based projects. Accommodations, meals, and transportation to and from site are provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Crew: Supervise, train, and assign daily tasks to crusher operators and ground crew.
- Operate Machinery: Safely operate crushers, screens, feeders, and heavy equipment (loaders, excavators).
- Monitor Production:



Adjust feed rates and monitor product quality to meet strict specifications.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce MSHA/OHS regulations, conduct toolbox meetings, and ensure PPE compliance.

Qualifications

- Experience: 3–5 years of crushing/screening plant operation experience.
- Leadership: Minimum 1 year of experience in a lead hand, foreman, or supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, jaw/cone crushers, and screen decks.
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license; heavy equipment operator tickets and safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, MSHA) are highly preferred.
- Attributes: Strong communication skills and the ability to work in harsh outdoor environments.
