Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of banquet dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in planning menu items for large-scale events, ensuring timely meal preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with serving staff to ensure smooth meal service during events
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining quality control throughout the preparation process




- Support food presentation efforts to ensure visually appealing dishes that meet guest expectations
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with serving and meal preparation for large groups or banquet settings preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and customer service
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $18.25-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
