In this role, you will be instrumental in helping clients transition smoothly by efficiently packing, loading, transporting, and unloading their belongings. Duties
- Safely lift, carry, and load furniture and boxes, adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move heavy items efficiently and securely
- Use commercial driving skills to transport goods between locations while following all safety regulations
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate moving schedules and address any concerns
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working order
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions professionally and courteously
Skills
- Proven experience in moving or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently and safely throughout the shift
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving is a plus
- Excellent physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
