Eco Tree Care is looking for an experienced AZ Licensed Driver who wants more than just a seat behind the wheel.

At Eco Tree Care, our AZ Drivers are an important part of our operation. You'll transport some of our largest equipment to job sites, operate heavy machinery, work alongside experienced arborists, and have the opportunity to learn the tree care industry from the ground up.

This isn't your typical driving job.

You won't spend your entire day sitting in a cab. You'll be outside, operating equipment, working with a professional crew, and taking on new challenges every day.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As an AZ Driver & Equipment Operator, your role will include:

- Transporting trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery to and from job sites.
- Safely floating and positioning equipment for a variety of tree care and land-clearing projects.
- Operating heavy equipment on job sites.
- Assisting arborist crews with tree removal, pruning, clearing, and site operations.
- Loading, securing, and preparing equipment for transportation.
- Assisting with chainsaws, chippers, rigging equipment, and other tools as you become trained.
- Performing site cleanup, including brush and wood removal, raking, grading, and site remediation.
- Completing daily equipment inspections and assisting with preventative maintenance.




- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Following direction from Foremen, Supervisors, and Management.
- Following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Developing your knowledge of tree species, equipment operation, and arboricultural practices.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

- Valid AZ Driver's Licence
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors throughout the year
- Ability to work up to 50 hours per week when required
- Willingness to travel throughout Southeastern Ontario
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation to and from our facility

Assets:

- Heavy equipment operating experience
- Transport truck experience
- Construction, forestry, landscaping, or agricultural experience
- Arboriculture or horticulture experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience hauling and securing heavy equipment
- AZ off-road and job-site experience
