Two Hills Mennonite School requires a part-time (0.5 FTE) temporary kindergarten teacher commencing as soon as possible until June 29, 2027.

Two Hills Mennonite School, located in Two Hills, Alberta is a K-12 school with approximately 450 students.

The successful candidate will:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Have a caring and nurturing personality and value an inclusive philosophy.
- Have the ability to manage a classroom independently.
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding the abilities, interests, and needs of children.
- Have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Be committed to student-centered learning
- Understand and correctly use formative/summative assessment
- Practise effective differentiated learning strategies to ensure learning
- Be team-oriented and committed to building relationships with students, parents, staff

Cross-cultural experience would be an asset as would experience or training in working with English Language Learners. THMS has a population primarily consisting of Old Colony Mennonite students with English as their second language. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a unique cultural group and willing to work within the expectations of the culture.
