Position: Farm & Venue Maintenance Assistant (Seasonal)

About the Role

Part Time - After School/Weekends

We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working student to help with general outdoor maintenance across our farm, wedding venues, and rental operations.

This is a hands-on, physical job best suited for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and taking pride in getting things done properly.

No two days are the same you’ll be helping keep our properties clean, organized, and ready for guests.

Responsibilities

- Trail clearing and general bush cleanup (sticks, debris, storm cleanup)
- Grass cutting, weed whacking, and property maintenance
- Moving and setting up benches, tables, and rental equipment
- Assisting with event setup and teardown at wedding venues
- Basic demolition and cleanup work (e.g., removing materials, chipping mortar, cutting steel)
- General farm labour and outdoor tasks as needed
- Keeping tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized





What We’re Looking For

- Strong work ethic (this matters more than experience)
- Comfortable with physical, outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Able to take direction and work independently when needed
- Reliable and shows up on time
- Positive attitude—no complaining, just get it done
- Experience with tools or equipment is an asset, but not required

Requirements

- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly
- Steel-toe boots required
- Must be available for flexible hours (including some weekends)
