Job Description:
QuickContractors.com Inc. is seeking experienced and insured independent contractors or small teams to handle indoor furniture and fitness equipment assembly and installation projects. This contract role includes the assembly of a wide range of home furniture and fitness equipment such as desks, bed frames, entertainment units, treadmills, home gyms and more.
This is contract work only. Applicants must have valid WSIB and liability insurance and be capable of providing their own transportation and tools.
Requirements:
- Valid WSIB coverage and liability insurance (mandatory)
- Experience assembling indoor furniture and fitness equipment
- Own reliable vehicle (truck or van) and full toolset
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pick up and deliver products when required
- Able to pass a criminal background check (mandatory)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using mobile apps to manage job schedules and tasks
- Ability to work independently and professionally in customer homes
Work Details:
- Piecework basis (paid per completed job)
- Flexible schedule – weekday and weekend availability preferred
- Year-round full-time or part-time contract opportunities
- Work will include indoor furniture assembly, fitness equipment, and other handyman-related tasks depending on your skillset
- Travel to job sites required within the GTA West, Halton Region and the surrounding area
Pay: $25.00–$70.00/hour equivalent (based on piecework)
