A growing family-run truck and specialty equipment operation is hiring a 310T Truck & Equipment Technician in Greely, Ottawa, ON to maintain, diagnose, inspect, and repair trucks and specialized equipment. Duties & Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, annual safety inspections, and repairs on trucks and specialized equipment.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, emissions systems, hydraulic systems, and related mechanical issues.
- Service Class 3–9 highway trucks, trailers, hydrovac and vacuum equipment, municipal equipment, hydraulic equipment, and similar specialty units.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Inspect equipment, identify repair needs, and confirm safe, reliable operation after service.
- Support daily shop repair priorities while following secure and effective work practices.

Requirements

- Required:

- - 3+ years of mechanic experience with on-highway trucks, heavy equipment,



or specialty equipment such as hydrovac, hydraulic, or municipal units.
- Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, emissions systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician licence 2nd- or 3rd-level apprentices are also considered.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to complete maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs safely and efficiently.

#SJ1 Compensation:

- $45.00–$65.00/hour starting pay based on qualifications and experience
