We are looking for a reliable and responsible Commercial Driver to operate a 5-ton truck or company van. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and timely deliveries, vehicle inspections, loading and unloading, and providing professional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 5-ton truck or company van.
- Complete deliveries and pickups according to scheduled routes.
- Load, unload, and properly secure products or materials.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence suitable for the vehicle being operated.
- Previous experience driving a 5-ton truck or delivery van is an asset.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Positive communication and customer-service skills.
- Physically able to load and unload items.
- Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
