Responsibilities
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift and clamp truck to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility
- Assist with production support by handling raw materials and finished goods with precision and care
- Conduct order picking using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, ensuring proper techniques to prevent injury
- Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring inventory is correctly labeled and stored according to safety standards
- Support warehouse distribution activities by preparing shipments for dispatch and verifying shipment accuracy
- Use basic math skills to count, measure, and verify quantities during inventory checks and order picking processes
Experience
- Previous experience operating forklifts, especially counterbalance models, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order picker equipment is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with warehouse management systems enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and order verification
