Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics of vehicles using schematics and electrical testing tools
- Perform repairs on automotive systems including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery such as forklifts, and industrial equipment for repairs and maintenance
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to troubleshoot issues accurately
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair progress clearly to customers
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and system calibrations
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical background
- Skilled in welding, electrical troubleshooting, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment effectively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Experience working with HVAC systems related to the automotive industry.
- Capable of heavy lifting safely during repairs or parts replacement.
