Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of equipment according to specifications and safety standards
- Transport and position heavy or bulky equipment using appropriate tools and techniques
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly after installation
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors or technical manuals to complete tasks accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Support team members during project phases by providing manual labour as needed
- Report any issues or discrepancies encountered during installation to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures and protocols
- Valuable communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team
- Prior experience in equipment installation, construction, or manual labour is preferred but not mandatory
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is an asset for site travel
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to changing environments
- Willing to work out of town on occasion
- Willing to shower into hog barns and follow bio-security guidelines.
