We’re looking to fill three positions, from first-year to third-year levels. These temporary roles could lead to a full-time apprenticeship and benefits. You’ll play an important part in supporting manufacturing and construction projects during peak times. This hands-on position offers the chance to work alongside skilled tradespeople, using your welding skills and mechanical know-how to help create high-quality fabrications and assemblies. Whether you’re experienced in MIG, TIG, or plasma cutting, this is a excellent fit for motivated individuals ready to put their skills to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Duties
Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting techniques to build and repair metal parts.
Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.
Operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and machining equipment safely and effectively.
Have proven welding experience, including MIG and TIG techniques, in manufacturing or construction environments.
Possess mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, maintenance, or installation.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations needed for accurate fabrication.
Pay: $18.75-$23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
