Calgary company of 50+ years looking for sales associates to provide outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking reliable and energetic individuals to join our sales team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating a welcoming environment by greeting all customers as they walk through the doors
Serving customers by developing rapport, building customer confidence, providing accurate information, and helping with product selection
Demonstrating knowledge of products and inventory to ensure customer satisfaction
Providing excellent customer service by responding to customer questions or issues regarding product features and benefits
Resolving customer complaints
Performing all required cash register transactions efficiently and accurately
Contributing to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming product flow
Maintaining consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards at all times
Create appealing wall features and layouts for products
Pricing and special code lookup
Assist customers with balloon inquiries, pre orders, selection and inflation
Executing opening and closing procedures
Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace for retail floor and warehouse
General cleaning duties and tidying of storefront and warehouse
Accept incoming and process outgoing shipments/orders

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Desire and willingness to learn
Strong work ethic, maturity and integrity
Neat and legible penmanship
Basic proficiency in mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Sales-driven and goal-oriented attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills and the ability to use a point-of-sale system
Ability to build relationships with customers
Adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions
May be required to lift boxes up to 35 lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 39.0 – 40.0 per week
