Farsi-Speaking Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker

Somatic/Body-Based Therapy Independent Contractor

Position: Virtual subcontractor | Flexible availability | Farsi-language client care

Elevate Wellness & Therapy is seeking a compassionate, experienced clinician to provide virtual psychotherapy to Farsi-speaking clients across Ontario. This is an independent-contractor opportunity for a regulated professional who brings a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens and integrates somatic, body-based, or nervous-system-informed approaches into psychotherapy.

About the role

Provide virtual individual psychotherapy to Farsi-speaking clients located in Ontario.

Integrate somatic, body-based, or nervous-system-informed approaches within your professional scope, competence, and college standards.

Complete timely clinical documentation and maintain privacy, informed consent, and secure virtual-practice standards.

Manage your availability independently while participating in collaborative consultation and peer support when helpful.

Required qualifications

Current registration as a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with CRPO or a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with OCSWSSW, with authorization and competence to provide psychotherapy in Ontario.

Good standing with your regulatory college, with no restrictions that would prevent you from performing the role.

At least three years of psychotherapy experience. This requirement applies to psychotherapy experience overall and does not need to be in a somatic modality.

Professional fluency in Farsi and English,



including the ability to provide psychotherapy and clinical documentation in English.

Training or demonstrated experience in somatic, body-based, or nervous-system-informed psychotherapy. Training in Somatic Experiencing® or a comparable trauma-focused somatic approach is strongly preferred.

Your own current professional liability insurance, maintained throughout the contract term.

Comfort with virtual platforms, telehealth best practices, and independent practice responsibilities.

Independent-contractor arrangement

The successful clinician will provide services as an independent contractor and will be responsible for maintaining their registration, insurance, tax obligations, and professional requirements. The written contractor agreement will set out the full terms of the relationship.

Pay: From $130.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 12.0 per week
