Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety
- Perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, and basic vehicle inspections to maintain engine health
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs as needed
- Lift heavy tires and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers about service procedures and recommendations
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive equipment
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment repeatedly throughout the shift
- Prior mechanic or automotive repair experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training available
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards
- Valuable communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the automotive service field
