EPC Canada is looking for an Bulk Truck Operator for its explosives distribution and blasting operations at its Côté Gold site in Ontario.

Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe delivery of bulk explosives by complying with company health and safety policies and procedures;
- Respect the laws and regulations for driving heavy vehicles; safety round, driving hours and defensive driving;
- Perform daily equipment inspection and maintenance of equipment;
- Load, deliver and unload bulk products;
- Operate bulk explosive delivery equipment;
- Record driving information on the electronic log (ISAAC);
- Maintain the quality of bulk products by blending in accordance with specifications;
- Ensure that customer needs and satisfaction are met;
- Represent the company in accordance with our policies;
- Perform other related duties.
Required skills and competencies :
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent;
- Have a valid Class DZ license (mandatory) or Class AZ license (an asset);
- Experience: 2-3 year experience in driving a tanker truck;
- Having a good driving record;
- No legal impediments related to the job;
- Know the regulations regarding the transportation of dangerous goods (an asset);
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Must be flexible to customer demands and basic vehicle maintenance;
- Considerate personality to adapt pleasantly in the presence of customers;
- Ability to work manually;
- Proactivity and sense of initiative;
- Oriented towards health and safety behaviors;
- Have a concern for rigor and quality of work;
- Sense of organization and good management of priorities;
- Languages required (spoken/written): English.
