Duties

- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
- Secure drywall sheets using appropriate fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and stability
- Finish joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or finishing
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and material requirements
- Perform caulking around seams and edges to ensure airtight and moisture-resistant finishes
- Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing or minor repairs as needed on-site




- Maintain a clean work area by organizing materials, tools, and debris throughout the project lifecycle

Skills

- Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing with a keen eye for detail
- Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for final coats
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate plans into precise on-site work
- Carpentry skills including framing, measuring, cutting, and assembly are highly desirable
- Skilled in caulking techniques for sealing joints and gaps effectively
- Handyman experience that demonstrates versatility across various construction tasks
- Familiarity with safety protocols and proper use of tools such as saws, drills, levels, and scaffolding

Pay: $19.88-$30.00 per hour
