Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated Tire Technician to complete regular tire changeovers on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This position is responsible for tire inspections, tire-related services, and inventory management for our fleet. The successful candidate will manage truck tire inventory using a barcoding system and may travel to various sites to complete changeovers on fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

- Inspect, repair, mount, balance, and change tires on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Rotate tires and check air pressure and tread depth
- Deliver tires as needed to offsite locations across BC and Alberta
- Complete weekly inventory counts, maintain accurate barcode records, and order new tires as needed
- Use appropriate tools, personal protective equipment,



and safe work procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Follow company policies and adhere to safety regulations

Qualifications and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a tire technician, preferably with heavy-duty trucks or trailers
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding work safely
- Basic knowledge of truck systems and tire specifications
- Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 a benefit, and/or willingness to upgrade to a Class 1 or 3)
- Clean drivers abstract submitted annually
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service skills
