We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. Duties
- Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and implementing preventive measures.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, visitors, and employees.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in surveillance or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies is beneficial.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse individuals.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties which may involve walking or standing for extended periods.
- A valid security license may be required based on local regulations.
