Tatonka Meats Ltd. is a provincially inspected meat processing facility serving the Peace Region. We are committed to quality, efficiency, and robust operational standards. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipper & Receiver to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and box customer orders for shipment and pickup
- Organize and maintain storage freezers
- Perform daily and weekly inventory assessments
- Assist with freezer pulls for the Kitchen Room and Cut Room
- Manage outgoing shipments and pickup coordination
- Maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory procedures
- Ensure order accuracy and quality control
Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Thursdays and Sundays off
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift and work in cold environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment
- Previous shipping, warehouse, or meat processing experience is considered an asset
Compensation
Rate of pay will be based on experience and skill set.
