Commercial Tire Technician

Location: Oshawa, ON
Pay Rate: Starting at $22/hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overtime & Weekends: Available/required as needed

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Tire Technician to join our team in Oshawa, ON.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on tire technician experience and be comfortable working with commercial vehicles and performing physically demanding tire service work.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build their skills, receive additional training, and work toward further certifications with the opportunity to eventually perform independent roadside service calls.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, remove, repair, and balance tires
- Service and maintain tires on commercial vehicles
- Perform tire inspections and identify tire-related issues
- Safely lift, handle, and move tires
- Work with tires ranging from approximately 5 lbs. up to 150 lbs.
- Assist with roadside tire service as required
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and proper tire-handling practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work as part of a team while developing the skills required to eventually work independently

Requirements





- Minimum 2 years of relevant tire technician experience

- Valid G Licence with clean record
- Hands-on experience installing, repairing, and balancing tires
- Experience working with commercial vehicles, including cars, minivans, and small trucks
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work
- Able to safely handle tires weighing up to 150 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be willing to complete additional training and work toward relevant certifications
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
