Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Processor specializing in Plastic Injection molding. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and quality inspection within a fast-paced production environment. As a Senior Processor, you will oversee the operation of plastic injection molding machines, ensure product quality standards are met, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead manufacturing activities, utilize advanced machinery, and uphold safety and efficiency standards across the production floor.
Duties
- Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules.
- Set up and calibrate machinery using hand tools, calipers, and other precision measurement devices to meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment such as CNC lathes, CNC machines, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished parts using measurement tools and visual checks to verify conformance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles.
- Assist in training junior team members on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Support warehouse activities by managing inventory of raw materials, tools, and finished products using forklift operations when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on plastic injection molding processes.
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery such as CNC lathes, CNC equipment, PLCs, and hand tools.
- Strong understanding of machining techniques, quality inspection methods, and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and process improvement.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 44.0 per week
