Position Overview

As a Controls / Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, programming, and integrating advanced automation solutions. From electrical enclosure design & builds, PLC programming and motion control to robotic integration, you’ll work on a diverse range of projects that push the boundaries of industrial automation. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems for automation and robotics projects.
- Program, debug, and optimize PLCs for motion control, HMI/GUI applications, and system automation.
- Perform system integration, including interfacing PLCs with servomotors, sensors, and robotic systems.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure optimal system performance.
- Design and build electrical enclosures for our automated solutions.

Bonus Skills & Experience (Highly Valued, but Not Required)

- PLC Programming: Experience with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) PLCs and Beckhoff TwinCAT control systems.
- Industrial Robotics: Experience programming and integrating Yaskawa (Motoman) robots, or similar robotic platforms.
- Electrical Design: Experience with Solidworks Electrical, SkyCAD,



or similar schematic software
- Software Development: Knowledge of front-end, back-end, and database design.

Requirements

- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or a related field, OR a college diploma in Controls, Instrumentation, Robotics, or a similar discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in PLC programming, HMI development, industrial robotics, or general automation systems.
- Passion for industrial automation, robotics, and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on, and cooperative startup environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
