Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic (Senior) Operations Accountant to join our finance team at FourQuest. This role transcends traditional accounting boundaries, including Accounts Payable responsibilities across our global group of companies (Canada, USA, Mexico, UK, and China). The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex financial transactions, engaging with operational teams, and leading financial reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management:

· Handle the posting of invoices across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

· Engage directly with operations managers for problem-solving and vendor negotiations.

· Prioritize payments, making recommendations to senior management.

· Maintain professional communication with vendors.

· Manage multiple AP inboxes for different countries, streamlining processes in a manual environment.

· Lead project review meetings with managers to discuss financial results.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in project accounting and administration an asset




- Experience in the oil and gas industry an asset.
- Good Microsoft Excel experience
- Sage 50 experience beneficial.
- Accounting degrees or professional designations are not required but beneficial.

· Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear and effective communication with team members, managers, and external stakeholders.
