Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management systems. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a smooth supply chain and supporting overall warehouse productivity.

Responsibilities

- Efficiently pick and pack orders using warehouse management systems and order picking tools
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes safely and effectively
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels in the warehouse management system
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely dispatch of orders
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Follow safety protocols during all warehouse activities, including heavy lifting and construction-related tasks




- Support warehouse organization by maintaining clean and orderly work areas

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with construction or industrial environments is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order selection and inventory control
- Ability to operate heavy machinery including forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50 per hour
