Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and manage local construction projects in the Chatham-Kent area. The successful candidate will ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, clear communication, and in-depth knowledge of excavation and site development.

Our company specializes in a wide range of excavation and construction services, including:

· Site development

· Water and sewer installation

· Culvert repair and replacement

· Septic system installation

· Leaky basement repairs

· Trucking, bulldozing, and excavation

· Hydrovac services

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise daily in office operations, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications

· Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and crew members

· Provide hands-on leadership, training, and mentorship to team members

· Monitor and maintain accurate project documentation, including schematics, timelines, and change orders

· Proactively address issues to avoid project delays or quality concerns

Qualifications and Requirements





· Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the excavation or construction industry

· Strong working knowledge of excavation techniques, site development, and heavy equipment operations

· Excellent leadership and conflict-resolution skills

· Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards

· Valid driver's license (DZ or AZ considered an asset)

· Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
