SHOP & EQUIPMENT COORDINATOROPC Services Inc. – Edmonton, Alberta

OPC Services Inc. is looking for a highly organized, reliable, and hands-on Shop & Equipment Coordinator to join our team in Edmonton.

This position is responsible for keeping our shop organized, ensuring crews have the tools and materials they need, and maintaining accurate inventory. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in being organized, pays attention to detail, and can work independently in a rapid-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare and dispatch tools, equipment, PPE, and materials to job sites and crews.
- Track tools and equipment going in and out of the shop.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and identify items that need to be reordered.
- Keep the shop, storage areas, and equipment organized and clean.
- Prepare equipment and materials for upcoming projects.
- Receive returned tools and equipment from crews and inspect for damage, missing items, or required maintenance.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of power tools and equipment.
- Coordinate repairs or servicing of damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
- Ensure equipment is properly stored and ready for use.
- Assist project managers and supervisors with material and equipment requirements.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers as required.
- Maintain organized records of equipment, tools, and inventory.




- Help ensure company tools and equipment are properly cared for and accounted for.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in a construction shop, warehouse, equipment, or similar environment is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Basic power tool maintenance and troubleshooting experience is an asset.
- Ability to identify common tools, equipment, and construction materials.
- Comfortable lifting and moving materials and equipment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
- Forklift experience/certification is an asset.
- Construction or demolition experience is an asset.

The successful candidate will be someone who likes things organized and knows where everything belongs. You will play an important role in making sure our crews leave the shop properly equipped and ready for the day.

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional additional hours as required

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
