Class 3 Chemical Delivery Driver

Location: Acheson
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday / Variable based on customer requirements
Travel: Frequent regional travel with occasional overnight stays

About the Position

We are seeking a Class 3 Driver to join our team and be responsible for the safe and reliable delivery of chemicals to our customers using a 5-ton mini-bulk delivery truck.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who takes pride in operating safely, providing exceptional customer service, and working independently. The successful candidate will represent the company directly at customer locations and will be expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a Class 3, 5-ton mini-bulk delivery truck.
- Load, transport, and deliver chemical products in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Complete required pre-trip, post-trip, and vehicle inspections.
- Safely handle and transfer chemical products using established procedures.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Complete delivery documentation, shipping documents, and other required paperwork accurately.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide a high level of customer service.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and general condition of the assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Identify and report safety hazards, equipment issues, spills, incidents, or other concerns promptly.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining communication with dispatch and management.




- Maintain all required certifications, training, and competency requirements as established by the company.
- Perform other duties related to transportation and delivery operations as required.

Safety & Training

Safety is a fundamental requirement of this position. The successful candidate must be willing and able to complete and maintain all training applicable to the role, which may include:

- H₂S Alive
- Standard/Intermediate First Aid
- WHMIS
- TDG
- Transportation and chemical-handling training
- Driver competency and company-specific training
- Site-specific orientations and other customer-required training

Employees are expected to keep all required training and certifications current and comply with the company’s ongoing training and competency requirements.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

- Hold a valid Class 3 driver’s licence with a clean or acceptable driver’s abstract.
- Have professional driving experience; chemical delivery or bulk delivery experience is an asset but willing to train the right applicant.
- Demonstrate a solid commitment to safety and understand the importance of proper PPE use.
- Be customer-service oriented and professional when dealing with customers.
- Be dependable, organized,



and capable of managing their workload with minimal supervision.
- Have strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Be comfortable working outdoors and around industrial/agricultural operations.
- Be physically capable of performing the duties associated with chemical delivery and equipment operation.
- Be willing to travel frequently and stay overnight when required.
- Be willing to complete all required company and industry training.

Travel & Accommodation

Frequent travel is a normal part of this position, and some assignments will require overnight stays.

The company will provide or cover approved accommodations and business-related travel expenses. Employees will not be expected to personally absorb reasonable company-authorized travel and accommodation costs.

Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
