We are looking for a team player who is eager to learn, is pursuing CPA designation, and excels in customer service. For candidates pursuing their CPA designation, Affinity Accountants LLP is a CPA pre-approved training office, providing the opportunity to gain relevant practical experience while working toward your designation.
Responsibilities
- Compilation of year-end financial statements and working papers
- Preparation of corporate, personal, and trust tax returns
- Corresponding with tax authorities
- Assisting with client management
- Collaborating with others independently or within a team workplace

Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in accounting public practice would be preferred.
- Robust computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with software's such as Caseware, Caseview, TaxPrep, and Profile would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, Xero, and Sage would be an asset.
- Solid commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Problem solver with solid analytical skills.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize a complex workload. Multiple task is a must need.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
