Rope Access Inspector NDT Technician– Full-Time

Structure Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Rope Access Inspector to join our team on a full-time basis.

This position is ideal for an inspection professional with strong rope access experience and the required non-destructive testing (NDT) and welding inspection credentials. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections in challenging industrial environments while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

Required Qualifications

- CWB Level 2 certification
- VT2 – Visual Testing Level 2
- MT2 – Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2
- UT1 – Ultrasonic Testing Level 1
- Current IRATA Rope Access certification appropriate for industrial work
- Previous experience performing inspections in industrial, mining, energy, or related environments
- Strong understanding of inspection procedures, standards, and documentation
- Ability to work safely at heights and in challenging work environments
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to assist other trades and team members when required (welders, pipefitters, millwrights)

Key Responsibilities

- Perform visual and NDT inspections using rope access techniques
- Conduct welding and structural inspections in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Complete inspection reports, documentation, and photographs accurately and efficiently
- Identify defects, deficiencies, and potential areas of concern
- Work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and other inspection personnel




- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper calibration and readiness
- Follow all company, client, and site-specific safety requirements
- Participate in project planning and contribute to a strong safety culture
- Represent Structure Group professionally while working at client sites

Location: Primarily Sparwood, BC. Remote work as well
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: 4 x 10 hour shifts with prospect for overtime regularly
Compensation: $53/hr - $68/hr depending on qualifications and rope access experience
