We are looking for 5 General Laborer's with experience in operating a Serging Sewing Machine for our client located in Bolton.

Position Summary:

This candidate is responsible for operating serging machines to stitch, finish, and assemble textile components with precision. This role requires strong attention to detail, steady hands, and the ability to maintain consistent quality in a fast‑paced production environment.

Major Responsibilities:

- Operate Serging machines to sew, edge, and finish fabric components according to production specifications.
- Inspect materials before and after sewing to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Follow production patterns and instructions to assemble textile parts correctly.
- Perform minor machine adjustments such as thread changes, tension adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain clean stitching lines and ensure all seams meet quality standards.
- Monitor workflow to ensure timely completion of daily production targets.
- Report machine issues or material defects to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Assist team members with related sewing or finishing tasks when required.
- MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH.

Qualifications:

- MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH.

- 1–2 years of experience in industrial sewing, preferably with serging machines.
- Familiarity with textile production, garment assembly, or upholstery manufacturing.
- Ability to read and follow patterns, measurements, and production instructions.
- Strong hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic mechanical understanding of sewing equipment is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working around machinery, tools, and industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a technical manufacturing workplace.

Shift Timing:

- Day Shift (7AM – 3:30PM)
- Must have 5 days availability

Pay Rate:

- $19
