Job Overview

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Production Workers / Machine Operators to join an established manufacturing operation in Mount Forest, Ontario.

This is a hands-on production position for individuals who are safety-conscious, dependable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidates will assist with operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, and supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities.

Previous manufacturing experience is considered an asset, but candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
- Assist with machine setup and general production activities.
- Monitor the production process to help ensure consistent product quality.
- Perform routine quality checks and identify potential defects or issues.
- Handle raw materials and finished products as required.
- Follow production instructions and established work procedures.
- Complete basic production records and use computer-based systems when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to meet production requirements.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience is an asset.
- Ability and willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and attendance.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.




- Ability to perform moderate lifting and physical production duties.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to read and understand written work instructions.
- Basic mathematics comprehension.
- Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and product quality.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to periodically wear a respirator where required for certain duties.
- Forklift experience is an asset; training may be provided.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
