- Ensure the best possible lodging experience for each guest.

- Wear a provided maintenance uniform and nametag at all times on property.

- Order and install small maintenance items as needed for repair, under direction of General Manager.

- Complete tasks and assignments on the daily Maintenance Checklist.

- Complete Maintenance Request Forms within 24 hours.

- Complete Preventive Maintenance program on a timely basis.

- Respond to maintenance emergencies timely.

- Talking to co workers, loitering, wasting of time should not occur outside a reasonable allowance to perform your duty

- Practice secure working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Blood borne Pathogens.

- Practice secure chemical handling as prescribed in Material Safety and Data Sheets.

- Perform other such duties assigned by Property Management to meet guest or operational needs.

Common Guest Areas and Exterior

- Clears trash and empties property trash containers daily.

- Sweeps and cleans sidewalks and stairs as needed (trash and weather related).

- Clears debris from parking lot, landscaping, and dumpster area daily.

- Ensures exterior building and grounds are clean by use of a pressure washer and blower.

- Maintenance and upkeep of all exterior doors and entrances.

Common Guest Areas and Interior

- Paints walls, ceilings, doors and window trim as needed.

- Provides Preventive Maintenance to at least 2 rooms each day.





- Ensures Preventive Maintenance repairs in the following areas:

o Lighting;

o Electrical circuits and wiring;

o Plumbing;

o HVAC;

o Guest room walls;

o Appliances;

o Doors and locks;

o Furniture;

o Carpet (remove stains) and;

o Floor coverings.

o Pest control monitoring

o Bathroom floors, tubs, drains

- Ensures Guest Laundry washers, dryers, vending machines and common areas are cleaned when necessary.

- Maintains clean, organized maintenance workshop and storerooms.

- Stocking supply items in storeroom when order arrives. Retrieving items from storeroom when required (toilet paper, tissue, coffee, etc.) and stocking them in laundry room, etc.

- Will be expected to closely work with the housekeeping supervisor and help with room inspections when required.
