Division Manager role profile

The Division Manager is a performance-driven high achiever responsible for the recruitment, on-going leadership, long term growth and sales performance of their division. This is accomplished by attracting, retaining the best candidates, developing and coaching Consultants to their highest levels of performance. While supporting, promoting an inclusive and respectful culture. In addition, the Division Manager is responsible for client acquisition within their division while, growing and managing their own practice.

Talent acquisition - Partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to foster a recruiting culture focused on building high performing Consultant teams.

Strategic mindset - Thinks critically, understands implications of decisions; translates concepts into practical application; knows how to effectively operate within the organization by keeping people informed.

Client focus - Provides the highest quality service to clients and consistently exceeds client expectations.

Consultant development - Champions the importance of a talented, diverse team. Effectively trains, coaches and mentors Consultants to build successful practices.





Resiliency/adaptability - Reacts to change, ambiguity and uncertainty with confidence and openness. Solicits and acts on feedback and learns from experience; advocates change.

Accountability - Accepts responsibility for one’s own performance and actions; follows through on commitments; is a strong self-manager; disciplined and organized; treats others fairly and consistently.

Qualifications and experience

University degree in a relevant field

Previous management experience (preferably in managing large teams)

2+ years experience within the financial services or a related industry

Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation (or on track to earning a CFP)

Branch Managers certification preferred – BCO define who offers this.

Financial Services Designations preferred (CLU, CFA, CA, CMA etc.)

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & presentation)

Excellent interpersonal skills

Proven strategic planning/business planning ability

Strong awareness of respectful workplace polices and ensuring an inclusive professional atmosphere

Pay: $84,000.00-$250,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON
