Accounting Officer - Permanent - 19197

About the Opportunity

Our client, who is located in North York, is looking for an Accounting Officer to join their growing team.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Reconciling bank statements and general ledgers
Compile and distribute daily management reports
Compliance reporting for lenders and regulators
Prepare monthly financial statements and consolidated financial statements
Prepare ad hoc reporting as requested by management or investors
Cash receipt entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliations
Internal department queries and problem solving
Calculate monthly loan payments, verify third party calculations and resolve any discrepancies
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role
Relevant university degree or college diploma
Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and procedures and budgeting methods
Detail orientated, with excellent organizational and follow up skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of NetSuite would be an asset




About the Job

The salary band for this prospect is $60,000 to $70,000 depending on relevant previous experience. This role offers hybrid work flexibility and is located in the North York, ON region.
