Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) – Integrative Health & Longevity Clinic

Position: Part-Time / Flexible
Compensation: Commission-Based

We are opening a new multidisciplinary clinic located within a private membership-based gym and are looking for a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team.

Our clinic focuses on:

Longevity, Health & Wellness and Aesthetics

We are especially interested in an RMT with a hands-on, manual and movement-based treatment style, with a strong focus on recovery, aesthetics, wellness and active clients.

Clinical Focus

Our preferred treatment approach emphasizes:

- Manual therapy
- Deep tissue massage
- Relaxation massage
- Sports and recovery massage
- Soft tissue techniques
- Recovery and wellness-based treatments
- Injury prevention and maintenance care

We are looking for practitioners who enjoy actively working with the client rather than relying primarily on passive modalities such as TENS, electrotherapy or hot/cold therapies.

Additional Skills Considered an Asset

Experience in any of the following is highly valued:

- Lymphatic drainage massage
- Post-operative massage
- Aesthetic body treatments
- Wood therapy / maderotherapy
- Prenatal and postnatal massage
- Sports massage
- Cupping
- Additional acupuncture qualifications or credentials, where professionally authorized

Job Duties

The Registered Massage Therapist will be responsible for:

- Conducting client assessments and identifying treatment goals
- Providing hands-on massage and manual therapy treatments
- Performing deep tissue, relaxation and recovery-focused massage
- Incorporating stretching and mobility techniques when appropriate
- Supporting muscular recovery, flexibility and range of motion
- Treating tension, overuse and common musculoskeletal concerns
- Supporting active clients, gym members and sports-related recovery
- Providing injury-prevention and maintenance-based care
- Developing individualized treatment plans




- Performing lymphatic, post-operative or aesthetic treatments when qualified and appropriate
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborating with physiotherapy, acupuncture, nutrition and other clinic practitioners
- Referring internally when another clinic service may benefit the client

While the clinic will have a strong emphasis on recovery, wellness, aesthetics and sports, practitioners will also be welcome to treat traditional injury, rehabilitation and general massage therapy cases.

Requirements

Current CMTO registration is mandatory.

Applicants must be actively registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

We are unable to accept applicants who are not currently registered with CMTO.

Compensation

This is a commission-based position.
