Job Summary

Dukes Building Supplies Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Lumber Yard Worker to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The successful candidate will assist with loading and unloading building materials, organizing inventory, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced lumber yard environment.

Responsibilities

- Load and unload lumber, building materials, and customer orders.
- Prepare and stage materials for delivery and pickup.
- Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely (training/certification considered an asset).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lumber yard.
- Assist customers with locating and loading products.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other yard and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Previous lumber yard, warehouse, or construction experience is an asset.
- Forklift certification is an asset but not required.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.




- Reliable transportation to and from work.

- 8-hour shifts
