Our client, a well-established structural steel fabrication facility, is looking for a Junior QC/QA Welding Quality Coordinator to support quality control and inspection activities within their manufacturing operation.

This position is well suited for someone with hands-on structural steel fabrication experience who is looking to develop their career in quality assurance and welding coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience working in a structural steel fabrication environment.
- Solid ability to interpret steel fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Good understanding of dimensional tolerances, fit-up, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with welding inspection and quality control procedures.
- Knowledge of CSA W47.1, CSA W59, and ISO quality management systems is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with welders, fabricators,



and production personnel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

- Ensure fabricated steel components meet project specifications, customer requirements, company quality standards, and applicable industry codes.
- Support quality inspections and verify fabrication accuracy.
- Review dimensions, fit-up, weld quality, and overall fabrication requirements.
- Maintain accurate quality control and inspection documentation.
- Identify non-conformances and assist with corrective actions.
- Work alongside senior welders and production staff to maintain consistent product quality.
- Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
