Community Service Provider (CSP) – Companion Care
Red Deer, AB | Part-Time / Casual | $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Helping Hands is seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Service Provider to provide companion care services to seniors in Red Deer. This flexible role is ideal for an experienced caregiver looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide companion care to seniors, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and daily living tasks as needed.
- Support mobility and personal care based on client needs.
- Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities.
- Monitor and report changes in client well-being to appropriate personnel.
- Communicate effectively with care teams, nursing staff, and the Helping Hands team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Health Care Aide (HCA) Certification (preferred but not required).




- First Aid & CPR Certification (current and valid).
- Intervention Record Check (IRC) & Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening).
- Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation (preferred).
- Previous experience in senior care, home care, or community support is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to client needs.
