Responsibilities

- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and equipment
- Operate heavy machinery and farm equipment safely to prepare fields, plant seeds, and perform maintenance tasks
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields and garden areas
- Use hand tools and power tools for pruning, repairing fences, or installing new infrastructure
- Conduct routine inspections of crops, soil conditions, and farm equipment to identify issues early
- Perform heavy lifting of supplies, soil, or harvested produce as needed to support daily farm operations
- Support general maintenance tasks including cleaning equipment, repairing machinery,



and managing farm supplies

Requirements

- Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot farm machinery and tools
- Experience with irrigation systems and horticultural practices preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment with proper training or certification
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures on a farm setting
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements, calculations related to planting or fertilizing schedules
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Prior experience in agriculture or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: Up to $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
