Centre Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

About Inquisitem Early Learning Centre

Inquisitem Early Learning Centre is a STEM-focused early learning program in Burlington, Ontario. We offer play-based, inquiry-driven learning and are building a strong leadership team committed to operational excellence and high-quality care.

We are seeking an experienced, high-level Supply RECE – Program Supervisor on a casual, on-call basis. This role is designed for a seasoned leader who can step in to oversee centre operations, maintain CCEYA compliance, and lead classroom teams when the permanent Program Supervisor is off-site.

Position Overview

The Supply RECE – Program Supervisor will:

- Step in as the Designated Supervisor during planned or urgent administrative absences, overseeing daily centre operations
- Ensure continuous compliance with Ministry of Education regulations and the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)
- Maintain classroom ratios and support educators in implementing inquiry-based STEM learning
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to classroom staff during supervisory coverage shifts




- Manage daily operational needs, including emergency responses, incident reports, and family communications
- Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and inclusive program delivery

Qualifications & Requirements

- Active registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE) (Required)
- ECE Diploma or Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a licensed child care setting, with demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong working knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and Ministry licensing procedures
- Thorough understanding of How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s pedagogy for the early years
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Valid Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within six months)
- Up-to-date immunizations as required by local health authorities and the CCEYA
