Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations in union environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry, strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, and expertise in ERP systems such as SAP. This role is integral to ensuring safety, production efficiency and quality standard at met in a fast-paced unionized manufacturing environment.
Role Description
This is a full time, on-site position located in Brampton, ON. The Production Shift Supervisor oversees and ensures the production processes run smoothly and efficiently during the assigned shift in 24/5 operations. They will work closely with the production team to maintain and improve quality standards, production yields, and employee morale.
They will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring quality and production targets are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 of those years in a supervisory role
- Post secondary education
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience utilizing SAP or other ERP systems to support production planning and execution
- Ability to understand and efficiently manage production schedules, technical and quality specifications
- Knowledge of health and safety, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
Preferred
- Experience working in aerospace or automotive industry
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement training or certification

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
