Job Summary
At JM Wellness Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate tutor to work with children and teenagers, including those with ASD, to help them build academic skills and improve social and communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs and a passion for supporting their growth and development. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment tailored to each child's needs.

Responsibilities:

- Work one-on-one with children in a supportive, understanding environment

- Use strategies to address communication, behavior, and academic challenges

- Develop individualized lesson plans that meet the child's learning objectives

- Monitor progress and adjust methods as necessary to ensure growth

- Communicate regularly with parents or caregivers regarding progress

- Foster a positive, encouraging, and structured environment for learning





Experience:

-Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities

- Patience, empathy, and robust communication skills

- Background in education, psychology, or related field preferred

- Ability to create and implement individualized learning plans

- Availability to work flexible hours

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
