Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a Full-Time Custom Cake Baker & Decorator to add to our team. Reporting to the Bakery Manager, this person will be cross trained in both the kitchen and the front of the house. They will assist the Bakery Manager in daily production of custom cakes and will be responsible for decorating and finishing the products being sold. The successful candidate will have a love for learning and an eye for detail. Above all someone that wants to enjoy a fun atmosphere while working.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years experience as a cake baker & decorator, Red Seal baker
- Knowledgeable and experienced in baking and pastry (required)
- Experience with cake and pastry decorating (required)
- AHS Food Safety Certificate (required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for baking
- Well-developed sense of both fun and teamwork

Duties:

- Preparation, baking,



and decoration of a variety of baked cakes.
- Operation of bakery equipment; ovens, mixers, etc.
- Maintain an organized and clean bakery as directed by the Bakery Manager
- Address all customer interactions with professionalism
- Other as directed by Bakery Manager

Work Conditions

- Occasional overtime
- Long periods of standing and walking; frequent bending and twisting

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
